Analytics-optimized Intelligent NOS

Analytics-optimized NOS

To enable and optimize a Network Operating System requires intelligent automation driven by advanced analytics.  Below are the advancement phases of analytics and the value achieved through each level of maturity.  Automated Intelligence (AI) has long standing experience in implementing the highest levels of predictive and prescriptive analytics and then translating the results into a policy-driven automation platform which orchestrates resources, workloads, processes and other elements to a given optimized result for our customers.

Descriptive Analytics

Descriptive analytics evaluates what has happened, reviewing events, services and performance data and characterizes and classifies what was found.

Diagnostic Analytics

Diagnostic analytics evaluates why something happened, enabling root cause diagnosis, through deep learning-based correlation.

Real-time Analytics

Real-time analytics evaluates what is happening right now rather than only historically providing rich event system and performance tracking, commonly tied to basic automated response.

Predictive Analytics

Predictive analytics evaluates what will or could happen through predictive reservation-based usage and scheduling forecasts, predictive capacity planning and trending, and provides the foundation upon which policy engines can evaluate service guarantees and violations out into the future.

Prescriptive Analytics

Prescriptive analytics evaluates how an objective can be accomplished in the face of a given predicted outcome, applying simulation-based validation of changes and enabling key new services.  Prescriptive analytics is the foundation for automated optimization of service levels, system efficiency, and in enabling real-time upselling of future services.
